Dr. Ron NG, CEO of NerOcean, recently had the honor of attending the prestigious 2nd UN Ocean Decade Regional Conference and the 11th WESTPAC International Marine Science Conference in Bangkok, Thailand from April 22-25, 2024.
Invited by Prof. Gil Jacinto, a distinguished member of the Advisory Group of UNESCO-IOC WESTPAC (The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission’s Sub-Commission for the Western Pacific), Dr. Ron NG showcased NerOcean’s latest innovation: the New Generation of Dissolved Oxygen Sensor utilizing Replaceable Photo-sensing Film. This cutting-edge sensor, operating on a photo-oxidation reaction mechanism, offers long-term continuous monitoring capabilities while effectively combating biofouling at a minimal cost.
Prof. Rudolf WU, NerOcean’s Co-founder and Advisor, shared insights on the global hypoxia issue through two impactful presentations, contributing valuable perspectives to the conference discussions.
