20240828 Celebrating Success: NerOcean Triumphs at iCAN 2024 in Canada! We are thrilled to announce that NerOcean has clinched the prestigious Top 20 Best Invention Awards and a coveted Gold Medal at iCAN 2024 (The 9th International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada) with our groundbreaking invention, Artificial Mussels! Our invention, “Artificial Mussel: A Novel Device for Monitoring Heavy Metals and Radionuclides in Global Aquatic Environments”, is a collaborative work involving the expertise of SKLMP (State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution), CityU, EdUHK, and NerOcean. NerOcean extends heartfelt thanks to CityU HK Tech 300 and EdUHK EDuce for their unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in our success on this global platform. In addition to the triumph of Artificial Mussels, NerOcean’s New Generation of Dissolved Oxygen Sensors also secured Top 10 Best Invention Awards, a Gold Medal, and a special award at iCAN 2022. This recognition underscores our commitment to innovation and excellence in marine technology. Moving forward, NerOcean is dedicated to transferring the research outputs of SKLMP into commercial products that drive sustainable ocean development, ushering in a new era of progress and environmental stewardship.
