20231028 NerOcean Shines at InnoCarnival 2023: Showcasing Cutting-Edge Ocean Technologies for a Sustainable Future We have some fantastic news to share! NerOcean recently participated in the highly anticipated “InnoCarnival 2023” organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSAR) in Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP). This remarkable event, held from October 28th to November 5th, showcased the theme “Go Smart! Go Tech! Go Green!”. As a local startup company and proud member of the CityU HK Tech 300 family, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase our latest technologies to the public. Our booth at the event attracted a diverse range of visitors, spanning from 3-year-olds to 80-year-olds, including both enthusiastic kids and seasoned professionals. It was truly inspiring to engage with them and share our insights on cutting-edge technologies. It was truly inspiring to engage with them and share our insights on cutting-edge technologies. In addition to the exhibition, we had the privilege of attending the Gala Dinner of BIOHK 2024. The highlight of the evening was the serving of traditional Poon Chai in the Tang Ancestral Hall. This rare opportunity allowed us to immerse ourselves in the rich cultural heritage of Hong Kong and experience the flavors of authentic Chinese cuisine. During the event, we had the pleasure of connecting with other members of the CityU HK Tech 300 family, further strengthening our understanding and collaboration within this dynamic community. We would like to extend our special thanks to Dr. Jimmy WONG, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE), for showing a keen interest in our latest technologies. Specifically, our cost-saving dissolved oxygen sensor using replaceable photo-sensing film and the groundbreaking Artificial Mussels – the world’s first global standard tool for monitoring heavy metals and radionuclides.
